Specifications

The standard WoodFiredGrille has four-hundred and fifty (32” x 14”) square inches of surface area in the primary cooking chamber, located immediately above a row of removable refractory firebrick. The firebrick heatshield allows for traditional indirect cooking and smoking, forcing the heat and smoke to pass through the open ends of the primary cooking chamber, across your food before exiting through the chimney. A one-hundred eighty-two (13” x 14”) square inch cooking grate section can be removed from the primary cooking chamber and placed into the firebox on a searing shelf that is located immediately above the fire. This set-up can be used for direct grilling, cooking and baking and high temperature searing. A standard size pizza stone (sized for a 12-inch pizza) can be placed on the cooking grate section and set on the searing shelf in the firebox for baking.

The individual firebrick can be re-configured for varying combinations and degrees of heat and smoke. A standard drip pan can be conveniently placed between the cook grates and fire brick, or in place of individual firebrick(s). A sixty-five (13” x 5”) square inch opening allows the heat into the bottom of the primary cooking chamber and is grated to provide a wood chip shelf, for placing your favorite wood chips.

Temperature and smoke control is primarily accomplished by rotating the exhaust door on the top of the chimney. Oxygen to the fire is metered with a hinged draft control door located near the bottom on the front of the grill. Welded fittings are provided for temperature gages to monitor both the primary cook chamber and searing shelf temperatures. (1/2” NPT welded female coupling fittings are used for professional grade gages).

A 15-inch square aluminum diamond plate convenience shelf is located to the left side of the grill, containing (3) three stainless grill tool hooks for keeping your favorite grilling tools handy. The convenience shelf rotates out of the way for space consideration. The (5) five spring wire handles and all hinge pins are corrosion resistant stainless steel. A steel fire poker is holstered alongside the firebox. The firebox cover can easily be stored on the chimney when tending to the fire. Ashes are removed from the firebox by rotating and removing the ash handle. After lifting and removing the firebox grate, the fire poker is used to "poke" the ashes through the bottom of the firebox. The firebox cover can conveniently be placed under the grill and utilized as an ash collection container.

Lockable wheels are used to keep your grill in-place during use. The large 5-inch swivel, ball-bearing wheels allow your grill to easily become mobile for your lawn parties!
